Assistant Principal, Behaviour and Routine
Jessica has always been committed to education for young people and always dreamed of becoming a teacher. She has previously been a non-teaching Head of Year and drama facilitator at a secure children's home. After gaining her Masters Degree from the University of Leeds in Theatre and Development Studies her passion for improving the lives of young people was ignited. The following year she gained her PGCE from Manchester Metropolitan University and began her teaching career in 2013 as a Teacher of Drama and English. During her career, Jessica has had a number of leadership roles: Head of Year, Director of Key Stage 3 and Associate Assistant Headteacher: Student Leadership & Community.
Jessica has worked in other high performing schools and, at her previous school, led the pastoral team through the journey from Good to Outstanding,
In 2018, Jessica studied for her NPQSL which enabled her to secure her role at DCA. Jessica is part of the Senior Leadership Development Programme across Dixons Trust.
